Newsletter: Feedback for Conservators
— What is about and some disclaimers
Hi! I’m marta, and this newsletter is a support to the initiative Feedback for Conservators (👇).
In it I will explore questions that arise more often than not in the zoom sessions that I do, in an informal way (let’s not take life so seriously). In between, I will also post to discuss apps (most of them free) that can be useful for art conservators.
It will be out for one year, twice a month. Some disclaimers at the end ✨1. See you then?

The Initiative ✍️
The Initiative Feedback for Conservators is a personal project and service that offers professional correction and feedback reviews especially (but not only) for emerging art conservators ✍️. This includes a cv, motivation letters, applications, websites or simply how to approach something professionally/a dream goal that you have in mind.
I believe that although slowly more conservation mentoring is arising, it is still extreeemely limited and often, just within English-speaking countries, and therefore, their professional context. Often also, it does not include this kind of, very-very necessary, deep and specific professional help.
We all have been there, and I know how much feedback can make an impact when we feel a little lost (and how much I needed at the start). For shyness or lack of trust, most of us usually end up only asking close friends.

And how it works?
If you’re still curious, I explain it a little bit more here. Also here with some kind words.
I take on work that could be in several languages but just a certain amount of hours per month. As I said, it is primarily for emerging conservators, but not limited to. As we all know, help is always needed at ANY point in a carrier, and we all should help each other.
